Donal Daly (CEO)
Donal is a founder of the TAS group of companies, which is his fifth global business enterprise. Donal also started Software Development Tools which was acquired by Wall Data (NASDAQ: WALL) after which he was Vice President for Europe. He was founder of NewWorld Commerce, an on-demand emarketing company that was acquired by IQ Commerce. He was also founder of The Customer Respect Group - an online research company, and additionally is founder of Select Strategies - a strategic sales and marketing consulting company. Donal is author of four books including the best selling Select Selling Sales Fieldbook. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from University College Cork in Ireland.
Aine Denn (COO)
Aine brings 18 years experience in operations, customer service, and business development to the TAS group of companies. Prior to the company, as VP International Business at The SCO Group (NASDAQ: SCOX), Aine had operational responsibilities for EMEIA and Asia. At NewWorldIQ - a leading eMarketing firm, Aine was VP Worldwide Professional Services. Prior to NewWorldIQ, she led the M&A opportunities across Europe for Prudential. Aine graduated in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
York Baur (CMO)
York Baur is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of The TAS Group, and brings over 20 years of technology marketing, business development, and corporate development experience to the company. York’s previous roles include Executive Vice President of Business and Corporate Development at Zango, where he helped to create the world’s largest client-side contextual targeting network through organic growth and acquisition. As Executive Vice President and General Manager at InfoSpace, he grew its search and directory business to be the largest independent Internet search network, and lead the successful acquisition of Excite.com. He also spearheaded channel development, product strategy, and corporate development at InterVu and Netpodium as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. York additionally held executive and key management positions at Wall Data, Attachmate, and Microsoft. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
Jim Crisera (CFO)
Jim Crisera is a multi-faceted technology executive who brings 17 years of financial and operational experience The TAS Group. Previously, Jim served as President, Promotion Division at Innuity, a Software as a Service (SAAS) company focused on delivering online marketing services to small businesses. Jim was also co-founder and COO of Vendaria, an online marketing services company where he oversaw all financial and operational aspects of the business and helped secure over $10 million in venture and strategic funding. Earlier Jim managed investor relations at Wall Data (NASDAQ: WALL), and was a financial analyst at Attachmate supporting their international expansion and initial public offering. He started his career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche, after receiving his bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Matt Close (VP, Global Sales)
Matt Close joined The TAS Group in 2004, and as VP of Global Sales is responsible for revenue of the company worldwide. Matt has spent the past 20 years in Sales and Strategic Account Management Leadership roles in both the entrepreneurial environment and with Fortune 100 Companies. Matt led sales organizations for The Coca-Cola Company that interacted both with direct customers and distributors to deliver superior sales growth in mature markets. Later, he founded and led a management and leadership training practice focused on enabling companies to build strong management teams. With The TAS Group Matt is passionate about enabling organizations, both large and small, with the process, tools and technology to exponentially impact account growth and sales performance. Matt has a Masters in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University with an emphasis in Business Leadership, and a BA in History from the University of California at Irvine.
